  • Someone as dumb as George W. Bush became President, doesn't this prove that men have it even easier? .... To answer yours, and my own rhetorical question. No.
  • No it proves John Mccain was trying to play the feminist card, and get votes away from the Hillary supporters, his card failed.
  • not really as i think in coming years you are going to see a lot of changes ,and there will be more women in politics and also PRESIDENTS AND PRIME MINISTERS i am tipping it to happen in Australia in the next 4 to 5 years ,so what ever you think not all women are SARAH PALIN and a male wrote this
  • No. Firstly, I don't think she "almost" became VP - McCain was always tagged as a loser. Secondly, it just points out the curios nature of the Vice Presidency. No-one is really voting for VP, because as long as the President lives, it is essentially a non-job. If the President is incapacitated, it suddenly become real, of course. But had Palin got there, it would have been in a "back door" sort of way, not by actually being voted for.
  • No. It's proves how ignorant the American voter is.
  • In the same way that someone like you can write that sort of question proving that people like you have it far too easy and should consider volunteering time in nursing homes.
  • Someone as dumb as George W. Bush DID get elected President, men still have it easier. +3
  • Plenty of male idiots hold public office. Does this not prove that men have it easy?
  • I find it hard to believe someone can use this sort of argument after eight years of Bush in the White House. Hope this helps.
  • it's not about gender or state or political party affiliation. rich stupid people have it easy. look at W. look at dan quail. on the other hand, if you're not rich, then you usually do have to get a leg up. the logic you use could then be mis-applied to others - doesn't this prove that alaskans have it easy? stupid people have it easy? antique supermodels have it easy with a former naval aviator?
  • Not really, if you think about the fact that someone dumber than Palin, actually made it to president, and he was not a woman.
  • No, but I think it does illustrate that, as we already knew, that attractive people (esp. women) have an advantage over less telegenic people in our mass media-soaked culture. Much as we'd like to think people are rational and contemplative, we are still often ruled by influences beneath our conscious notice. http://www.gladwell.com/blink/blink_excerpt2.html
  • Nope. It proves what we all know..men don't think with their brains they think with their...well..something else. Men are the ones who chose her. Women never would have done such a thing. Happy Sunday to you! :)
  • No women have to work harder to prove their capability. Hilary Clinton is not president because she is a Women.
