Okay, I am 16 years old (going on 17 years old),and my mother makes me go to the hairdresser every two weeks. And while I was sitting in the chair getting my hair done I was listening to my ipod and the hairdresser pulled the ipod out of my ear,and said that one of the other hairdresser was real disappointed that I didn't bring my baby doll project to the shop, and I didn't say anything.and then she asked did you hear me? and I said "yeah" Then she said well you need to say something then and that I was being rude because I should have said something. So later I apologized to her,and I asked my mom "why do we have to come here?" and my mom said to get our hair fix and she said why?" And I said because the hairdresser has an attitude promblem and then my mom said no you(me) have an attitude problem and you are a spoiled brat. And some other lady getting her hair fix was winking at my mom.

no... she was... But you really shouldn't listen to your ipod while getting your hair done.. Some people just can't stop talking but that's the first characteristic of a hairdresser.. You're not rude and you did nothing wrong..

The whole situation sounds a little nutty. I don't think you were being rude. Regardless of your age you have the right to respect, and if you have been respectful then you deserve it in return. If you're not getting it then refuse to go. just because you are young doesn't mean you are less human, thus don't put up with crap when you know you are not in the wrong! YAHWEH bless you!

it would have been nice to respond/acknowledge them talking to you, your mom probably considers it rude since its almost ignoring them, and being ignorant is rude. she wants you to be a nice young lady but you should talk to your mom...non aggressively and explain you dont see how what you did was rude let her explain how and why it is
