  • Well, I'd have to say that the root cause of this problem wasn't really the parents and their daughters, though a case COULD be made for this on the basis of modesty and such. I'd have to say that the problem was that I did not make it clear what was considered appropriate attire for this event. I'd make sure that this was known BEFORE the next such party, and maybe have a specific discussion with the parents before hand. Certainly I'd invite them again, so long as they were otherwise decent people who were well behaved.
  • No. I shouldn't have to define "decent attire" to an adult coming to a family function. Parents like that don't impress me enough to become buddies with them. +5
