You invite a friend you know but not well to your BBQ/pool party last year with her 13, & 16 year old girls, the 13 yr old was in a Rio cut bikini & the 16 yr old in a thong takini, and their dress put many parents off. Would you invite them again?

Well, I'd have to say that the root cause of this problem wasn't really the parents and their daughters, though a case COULD be made for this on the basis of modesty and such. I'd have to say that the problem was that I did not make it clear what was considered appropriate attire for this event. I'd make sure that this was known BEFORE the next such party, and maybe have a specific discussion with the parents before hand. Certainly I'd invite them again, so long as they were otherwise decent people who were well behaved.

No. I shouldn't have to define "decent attire" to an adult coming to a family function. Parents like that don't impress me enough to become buddies with them. +5
