  • My salads are a meal in themselves. I have dark and light lettuces, tomatoes, onions, red, orange, green and yellow sweet peppers, dried cranberries and/or blueberries, pine nuts, chopped left-over ham or cold cut, and whatever else I might have lying around. Then I sprinkle the top with grated tangy cheese. Round that off with a very nice fat-free salad dressing to taste....and a glass of chablis...the perfect meal!
