Pancakes are easier to eat. They absorb the syrup better. Waffles are often crunchy and often get over cooked. Pancakes are soft and thick and spongey. sometimes I have a waffle. I cut it up in quarters and eat it like toast. Pancakes I like to smother with butter and real maple syrup. a couple over medium eggs and there is nothing better.
