I think people that are receiving welfare should be put to work. Pick up trash at the parks, read to old people or kids, paint a hospital etc.

That will never fly. Best thing to do is quit your job, go on welfare, and spend most of it on drugs. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em.

Hell no. You people obviously have no idea how stressful it is to be poor as hell. Let 'em smoke some weed...it'll calm 'em down and keep 'em from robbing incompassionate bastards like you. Listen, drugs are a part of our society whether you like it or not. Do you really think if the politicians who run our Country got tested for drugs they would pass it? lol. They got a cocaine mountain in their mansion somewhere waiting for them, trust me. People are delusional. No wonder everybody gets so up in arms about these political scandals where politicians get caught in these orgies and stuff like that. It's clear that most people have no clue how corrupt our society is. I don't even think people who are working should have to take a drug test. As long as they don't come to work high then who gives a fuck? Lighten up people, and swallow a reality pill, please.

Interesting idea. Maybe a random test, 2-3 times per year.

If I'm involved with a work related accident I get an immediate UA. Otherwise it is once a year and I know the date. It's no big deal. The cost of testing all welfare recipients on a regular schedule would be off the charts. It's a bad idea.

    That would be fair.

The Bible's position on welfare is:
For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any man would not work, neither should he eat. - 2 Thessalonians 3:10
    -
    I'm OK with that.
