Question

Help answer this question below.

If I am on a diet of 1200 calories a day, and I burn 400 a day at the gym, should I make up for those calories I burn by eating 400 extra? I want to lose fifteen pounds. Right now I'm 5'1" at 140.

You should replace those calories, preferably with something low in fat, and nutritionally rich.

1200 calories a day is already below your basal metabolic rate, and anything below that starts to get very dangerous to your health.
