  • I often use Tresemme (spelling?) hot oil treatments about twice a month. They work great for me.
  • Head & Shoulders shampoo with Pantene conditioner. I just started using this mixture last week, and it works great.
  • olive oil, massage it into your hair leave it for at least half an hour. if you want you can wrap it in a towel or put on a shower cap and leave it in all night. then wash it out with your regular shampoo.
  • Aussie Moist formula daily with Aussie 3 Minute Miracle once or twice a month.
  • I love Pantenes conditioners. They make my hair look and feel like silk. I think all of them work great especially the one for sleek hair. Or try the deep treatment ones, they are really good.
  • garnier fructis It works good :)
  • I have just copied the following from a reply I sent to someone :- "I tend to use shampoo that is clear, reason being, most shampoos that aren't clear contain silicone, which apparently stretches the hair out of shape. The best shampoo and conditioner 100%.. Without a shadow of doubt is Aussie Miracle Moist! The Austrailians do it better. Trust me, these ppl know what they're talking about when it comes to hair care. I can't name any more cause nothing beats it." This range would be perfect for your type of hair.. Also Aussie has a 3 Minute Miracle conditioner, my hair is also dry and damaged and I swear by it :)
  • You can buy most salon products in the regular store these days but the price is the same. I have had good results with the Herbal Essences products. They smell great; and so far, I have found that they deliver on their promises. I was a hair dresser for 12 years and I haven't found any salon products that were better than the Herbal Essences. It's what I use.
  • I use the store brand of Redken Curl Conditioner. My hair is really fine and curly so it loves to frizz up on my but that conditioner and regular clear clarifying shampoo works great for me!
  • Like mentioned above, there are many food products you can put in your hair to moisturize. Oil, Mayonaise, and Peanut Butter are three I know. Putting honey in your hair makes it shiney : ). Personally, I began using pantene for their Brunette products, then started using their regular mega hydrating stuff. it works GREAT. Though they have more specific conditioners for every need. Just try things out, though dont feel like you need the most expensive things. Look for deals to guide your experimenting!
  • I watched a tv show in which a reputable scientist was asked to scientifically verify whether the claims made by beauty products held any truth. Many products didn't do what they claimed to do but one that actually does work is conditioner for colour treated hair. Apparently it does have stuff in it that makes it different from ordinary hair conditioner. So if your hair is coloured, make sure you use a conditioner speciafically designed for coloured hair.
  • Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Conditioner (I think that is what it's called) does wonders. It does help. Herbal Essence for Dry Hair is really good, So, is Loreal. Paul Mitchell Deep Conditioner is really nice kinda pricey though. I would try a leave in conditioner, that should help your hair a good bit. ThermaSilk is probably another good brand that will help.
  • Hot oil every week. Shampoo your hair 2x a week. And trim your hair every month.
  • I like L'Oreal Vive-Pro for dry/damaged hair. I also have very dry hair and this left my hair silky smooth!
  • Use Biosilk Shampoo and Conditioner found at drugstores.
  • Sensaria Cherry Almond Shampoo and Conditioner. I've used all the grocery brands... all the professional brands... and all the trendy brands. Nothing tames my hair and repairs the damage like Sensaria's shampoo & conditioner. It is a little pricey... $16.50 for an 8oz bottle, but is worth trying.
  • Maybe Biolage Therapie Hydrating Shampoo which protects hair from UV Rays and leaves it lush and moisturized and really just it looks amazing. Also I like the idea of olive-oil overnight but you can also try coconut-oil jojoba-oil or white germ wheat-oil. If you do attempt to use those oils only use the oils and the ends of your hair or near the roots and not directly on them. Don't massage any of this into your scalp because the buildup will clog that follicles and it will hair looking as if it's extremely greasy. I recommend using the coconut oil or white germ wheat-oil which are the two I use which work great and leave my hair healthy. I also advise to wash very well!!!! You could maybe also try a home-made remedy which works very well there are 2 of the following choices - you can use mayonnaise and leave it inside of your hair for 30 minutes but make sure it's labeled mayonnaise none of that stuff like "MIRACLE WHIP" or "WONDER WHIP" just plain, old "MAYONNAISE" it could be fat free but I say not to since you want the thick and creamy stuff for your hair with all the egg protiens. If you don't like that then you could use a mixture of egg with olive oil or baby oil - I recommend using the Olive oil since the baby oil leaves your hair a tiny bit shiny or greasy depending on your hair but it's what you like I guess. Well you mix the egg with the olive oil / baby oil whichever and then you put the mixture in your hair and leave it in for only 7 minutes. Well that's just about it, I hope this helps and take care.
