  • Lots ~ we used to sing around the piano. Now I have that music book ~ looking a little worse for wear but a brilliant reminder of all those little rhymes.

  • Yes. the one that came to mind first was the little ryme at the end of the song, red red wine. My mom sang it to me alot, plus her own made up ones. 3, 6, 9, The goose drank wine, The monkey chewed tobacco on a street car line, the line broke, the monkey got choked, and they all went to heaven in a little row boat.   • Bah Bah Black Sheep. It's about a herder who only gets to keep 1/3 of his earnings due to operation costs, nothing wrong with that, and greedy government tax collectors taking the earnings for something they did absolutely nothing they helped produce but more to hinder production through overbearing governmental henchmen and unfair regulations. They money is then used to give to those who don't bother trying to work at all.
