Help answer this question below.
I am indeed. I'm into all the avantgarde music, especially EBM, metal and industrial, and a lot of this stuff is hard to find, even online. I can't afford CD's alla time, and most big name places don't have any Unter Null or BlutEngel. :/
It's quite a sad state of affairs when the radio just plays the same junk over and over, when there's so much awesome and original but unrecognized stuff out there.
Not bother, but I'm thinking about
it quite frequently. That's why often
I ask people what's their favorite
thing. You never know if You find
something.
.
I also use YouTube to jump from the
songs I already like into the net
of associations with that songs.
.
Another thing I did is learn what
are the music genres that I actually
like listening to and other related
so that now I sometimes search around
these.
For example for Electronic Music
I found this:
http://techno.org/electronic-music-guide/
A great, easy to understand, visual site
with a great interface and examples.
.
There are also other methods.
yep...thats why i try to find out the names of the people in the bands that i like to see what else they did or do...layne staley was in mad season...thats why i went to check out their stuff once alice in chains hit the radio.
Yes I do. That's why when I hear of a band I try to open and listen to their music even if their name sounds odd or something. Also I have Mad Season's album "Above." It's pretty good.
well it didn't but now that you put it like that, it does!! thanks a lot! hmph... ;p *sticks her tongue at you*

You're reading Does it bother you thinking about all the music out there that you might love but you haven't heard it yet? And might never? i.e., Only by chance I heard Mad Season's "Above" album. It's one of the very best albums I've ever heard.

Yes, yes, I agree. :) I have eclectic tastes in many of the fine arts and with music it seems to be such a 'wheel-of-fortune' type of odds that one comes across something one really loves. As my question mentioned, I was floored by Mad Season's album but by that time, the lead singer had long been dead and they were no longer a group. But I at least have that 'Above' cassette. :) Thanks for answering my question, Chainsaw! +6

Yeah same here, I heard about this group called E Nomine and I'm totally a fan now, but they broke up and have done nothing in like the past two years. Funny how that stuff works out, but I'm still glad for all the good music you can find by chance or if you know how to dig it up, whether it's still going or has been gone for years.

Yes. And I hear new music when others suggest groups with which I'm unfamiliar - - like you just did with E Nomine! Thanks! :) WHOA!! I just saw your invitation! Cool! Thanks and gladly accepted - - and just in case, can you drive a helicopter or plane? As Day of the Dead showed, the pilot was indispensable -- we'd all have to make sure to find a pilot! Ha!

I agree. Some of the bands I like, the only way to find their music is either but it online or to get lucky once in a while and find it at a music store or yard sale used. For example, I found a Pixies DVD called "Pixies Live at the Paradise in Boston" that I had been looking for yesterday. I couldn't pass up the opportunity and I bought it.
