Not many these days. However, random surprises do come when I least expect them, and they make my life worth living. Good question!

Many, every day...and I don't take the time to appreciate them....the fact I wake up each day....is one.....

Sometimes they come from unexpected places, like when people call me up and want me to fly with them to Mexico City, or New York City, or Florida, etc. Sure, I say, why not, I'm not doing anything. And so here we gooooooooooo. Up, up, and away!!!!!

I am a great fan of serendipity my friend. Sometimes well-planned parties are duds and spur-of-the-moment gatherings are memorable. If you expect anything, you set yourself up for disappointment. The unexpected, however, can never disappoint because you were not prepared for it to begin with so it's all icing on the cake of life! :) Some things I've anticipated have been very joyful...some not so much. But that which has dropped in my lap was always a delight! :)
