  • OMG of course thats going to effect it! how very interesting. I also find it odd to see Doctors and other medical personel smoking as well.
  • It has little effect. The biggest danger is to the sense of smell, which it effects slightly more, but not enough to measure. It's like all the people who use only unsalted butter. It's an exaggeration to say that the salted kind will effect the outcome. The salt is very slight and cannot be detected in side-by-side taste test. The salt simply helps preserve the butter longer. Smoking and taste buds are like that. Sure, by the time the chef is 115 it might start making a difference, but not much before then.
  • So. Anyway. How's it going? True. That's why if you hold your nose you can't taste. However, there IS a difference. And, as well, smoking's effect is not as harsh as most expect.
