Anything that is not in balance is dysfunctional.
-
Yes.
-
Depends. Are you doing one or being one?
-
Probably, if you did nothing else than consider the liklihood of spreading disease. Lot of other reasons too, I think.
-
its all a matter of opinion..........
-
It's all about the person in question...If they're happy being what they are then it's all good.
-
A slut is interested in pleasure. Both in giving and receiving. A prude is excessively 'proper', which suggests being judgmental and self-centered. I'd call the prude the worse sinner.
-
Well a prude won't cheat on you and possibly give you a life threatening std.
-
Almost nothing is worse than a prude. For the record, I LIKE sluts. They're more fun than a barrel full of monkeys and they have their values in the right place, usually.
-
no, ones just more selfish and self righteous than the other....both are bad behaving,behaviors...
-
It's all a matter of opinion. I myself like prudes. They make me think of when people were sweet, and at least pretended to love each other, as opposed to today where everybody's pretty much OK with coming up to some random person on the street and being like "I WANNA HAVE SEX WITH YOU!". In short, prudes make me think of less animalistic times.
-
If they look like one yes!
-
Absolutely. A slut shows no class or respect for her body. At least a prude treats their body as a temple
-
it depends ... are you talking about your girlfriend or your daughter????
-
both words should be lost from vocabulary, since they have both been re-formatted to mean soemthing other than their original intent. Prude does not mean a woman who wont do anything sexual I tell her to, whether she likes it or not. (she is still entitled to sexual pleasure and isnt there strictly for your pleasure) Slut does not mean a woman who wont have sex with YOU.
-
slut iz an insult... but prude aint... thou it iz uzd fo tht purpus... :D... peace!!!
-
No, atleast the slut wants to have fun.
-
I'd much rather be seen as a prude... so, I guess yes it is.
-
In my opinion, yes. Slut is a female that sleeps with many many men and has no other connection to them. A prude is someone who is better then everyone else. Kinda like being snotty! . Though both are not a good thing, I'd rather be a prude then a slut. *shrugs* Good question alluseek!!! +5
-
Depends on what you want from em. A slut can be a slut, then become a wonderful wife...becuase she gives up her ways, but then again a prude could have been a prude...and stays a prude even when married...but a slut would do ya right. But then again a slut might cheat, and the prude be faithful. lol, depends on what ya want, and the woman...
-
I would say yes for the simple fact she/ he may carry STDs where as a prude is just eye candy
-
No ones ever called me a prude,,,,and i would hate it if they did,,,,not nice to stick a label like that on ANYBODY,,,,,NO SIR,,,,ehehe
-
they both suck
-
Physically, being a slut is worse than being a prude. Socially, being a prude is worse than being a slut. It just depends on how you look at it. I would probably feel more comfortable around the slut, since she would be less likely to judge me than the prude would....Snobs piss me off!
-
They are both pretty bad, but sluts can be more fun.
-
Celibacy has been considered the ideal for unmarried people for thousands of years. Judaism, Christianity, Islam. A few decades of post-WWII moral and cultural degeneration and now people are actually asking this question. How sad.
-
Celibacy leads to 1000s of physical/mechanical mismatches. These couple can never have satifactory intercourse. If they tested the equipment before the commitment, they may have chosen differently.
-
the worst is a prude that pretends to be a slut.
-
I don't know if I
-
One is just as bad as another. Sluts are too easy and prudes are inverted most of the time. I will say valuing one's self is very important and if someone is prudish sex wise until they find someone they can trust, then that is commendable.
-
i will compromise and be a slutty prude ! evades the question with brilliance :P +5
-
I wish my concience allowed me to be a slut (man whore)
-
I don't know if I'm a slut or a prude I'm a virgin and I'm waiting for the right man, but I dress slutty, talk about sex all the time, and have odd sexual fantasies involving cartoon characters. Meh, I'm a prude-slut.
-
Both have negative connotations, as do all sterotypes, its hard to imagine either extreme being any worse than the other.
-
No. A slut experiences life; a prude complains about it.
-
not sure I was never a prude
-
neither are bad unless they expect everyone else to be the same as them. personaly I'll date the prude as I believe in hte law of chastity. but as long as you are not cheating then be as slutty as you want, noone is a victim.
-
What vulgar terms for women; I like neither antiquated term. I'd say they are both sinners!
-
It really depends on the man or woman herself...
-
Whats wrong with being a slut. I dont like the term anyways, because it degrades the person, when in reality there nothing wrong with being a "slut"
-
No, a prude is good and a slut is bad. Of course, other sluts wish prudes were sluts, so they wouldn't tend to agree with me!
-
well, a prude can't give me herpes.
-
Prude is worse, at home.
-
No, as there is a right time and place for each. I'm kind of both. I am a prude at first, so that I can actually think and make decisions about who I am going to be with.. because when I am a slut all the thinking goes out the window.
-
It's all about the double standard. There are men who want a "lady" in public who is a "slut" in the bedroom. It builds their ego. Women love to be judgmental and are every ready to throw around a term like slut when they are busy pointing fingers. The two stereotypes are destructive to both men and women in the end. There is more than one woman and more than one man caught up in an unfulfilled marital relationship because she is not in touch with her inner slut...the whole "good girls don't" mindset is as bad as the one men are stuck with when they pursue the good girl, woo her and win her before he eventually realized he is bored in bed because he thought he was winning a good girl. She wasn't good at all just...well you get my point? Single women? Forget about it! That's a whole different question. I suppose there is an argument to be made about the chances of contracting an STD but...you can sleep with just one person and get something icky. I don't know what the math is on odds sorry. What's worse? Neither...the tags are pretty bad though.
-
No, sluttiness is commendable. Prudishness should be scorned.
-
I think sluts reign supreme over prudes, they like to have fun and sexual beings, that's my kind of person to hang around! A prude might be a downer :S
-
It depends on your definition of either term. I for one, have been called both equally. If we are talking with have sex with anyone for love, money or neither kinda slut, then maybe would not want to be friends with her. If by prude you mean someone who can't evan talk or joke about sex or related things, and is completly hung up, then that person might not be fun to hang out with either. Personally, I think slut is an overused word. But really, I would be friends with either if I really liked them as long and their sluttiness/prudishness didn't get in the way of our friendship.
-
humm good question, and their is no one right answer. in one hand you have half a dozen, in the other hand you have 6. This is a different opinion on everyone you ask.
-
I like it when a slutty girl pushes the issue, but I'm not going to hang around 'til that inevideble bomb drops and her eyes and her thighs stray. In short, I like out of control vs. overcontrolled.
-
the worse thing a prude can give you is the cold shoulder or blue balls...the slut on the otherhand.............
-
A tree that bears fruit to all gains true value after it bears to you.
-
NO
-
I think so.
-
oh course!
-
no but the same
-
they fight to be the worse i guess
-
Depends what you're looking for in a woman :)
-
ohh no nothing's worse than a boring, humourless, stuck up prude imo!!
-
A prude is much worse.
-
No. The other way around. +3
-
It's subjective, of course. In my experience, sluts have been more interesting than prudes. Prudes are boring. Actually, I don't accept the concept of "slut." It's an epithet used by petulant prudes to complain about a competitor who gets laid more than she does.
-
No. A slut doesn't tell other people how they should act.
-
Yes! (In my humble opinion)
-
I think the slut has potential to be more annoying. They tend to wear (or not wear) what they are in everyone's face...you can't hardly miss them! Where as the Prude...more typically is quiet about their beliefs, hangs out with those who believe as they do...and you might well pass by one on the street, and never even realize they ARE one... The Prude more often will not force me to be offended or to take part in his or her values....where as the Slut, practically demands that I notice them weather I like it or not!
-
Sluts at least have a purpose in life and release stress in others
-
Depends on what you want them for.
-
Socially speaking, the terms are both used to simultaneously emphasize and devalue a woman's sexuality.
-
I don't know about WORSE, But a slut sure is a whole lot more fun!
-
No, with the prude there's a certain childlike mentality, like the mother having to tell them "how do you know you won't like it if you don't try it?"
-
Prudes are much worse. They wanna be sluts, but their anxiety and upbringing wont let them so they dole it out, bit, by bit, and make guys talk them in to it. Bit, by bit. OMG if I let you lick my tit, does that make me a slut? If only it was that easy! I'm a girl and these girls drive me nuts! Go with the sluts! She loves the man-whore you are!
-
depends on if you're the beneficiary of the slut's behavior or if you're the target of the prude's wrath. all in all, they both have the same disorder of attachment to the extreme, just different ends of the continuum.
-
Yes. Prudes don't try to @#$% my boyfriend =]
-
Crackhead Jesus doesn't think so.
-
It's my opinion that they are equally unpleasant because they represent and "extreme." I enjoy being around people who are comfortable striking a "happy medium." For family members (including a wife) I'd rather they "erred" on the side of prudishness than slutiness. A famous Chinese prophet once said, "Woman who is a wallflower at a party might be a dandilion (dandy lyin') in bed!"
-
Hell no! Sluts rock! I love sluts! They make the greatest company! Prudes... just really suck, and not in the cool way.
-
yes because they give u stds
-
Since neither exist except as a concept in the mind of misogynists, I'll say I like both.
-
Yes, because a prude has the choices to be able to mold into what they really like while still having their self-respect, and eventually somebody will be really happy by with their past self-discipline and respect. 'Sluts' can always have the turn around and see through child like eyes again through Jesus Christ, but I think being a prude allows you more leeway both in your mind and heart.
-
Hell no...a prude is so dull and boring, I'll hang with a slut anyday!!!!
-
yes becuase a prude is better in the eyes of many
-
at least the prude is respected by other people nobody respects a slut
-
Just the opposite. Because while sluts tend to be happy where they are, prudes actively try to convert those in the middle towards their side.
-
yes
-
can you provide an example
-
Definitely not +5
-
Well, a devoted slut would be a far better wife than an indifferent or even devoted prude.
-
I like sluts; It's one more thing you can do together! Plus it is exciting to hear about her adventures.
-
Not necessarily. Some prudes reveal themselves to be worse than sluts.
-
Worse certainly not. More fun? Certainly.
