My sister took ten tylenol pm tablets at i think 500mg each. I need to call an ambulance or take her to the hospital but she has no insurance and we are dead broke. What in the world can I do?

Call 911 if she refuses to go to the ER. It is an attempted suicide. They MUST treat her and stabilize her. They will assess you and if they think she needs further treatment they will admit her. IF they are a non profit hospital like a catholic they will often write it off/discharge it. If she refuses to go with you than once she becomes unconscious they will take her against her will. She might be able to get medicaid for the cost associated with this. Some people can. Better this or attend a funeral.

Not to sound cold hearted but what are you doing on the computer if you are worrying about your sisters health? Shouldn't you be calling 911? Something tells me this is not a legit question. Anyone who thinks there sister might be dying would not be on the internet.

Go to the hospital. The ER can not refuse you treatment if it is a medical emergency!!!

why are you on the internet and not already calling 911 !!!! if it were my sister or anyone I would already be there no matter what money situation because a life is worth more than any $$$$ so get your butt of the computer and call 911

Dial 911, take her to ER.
Then start lobbying for universal health care :)

Well would you rather pay for a funeral than the medical treatment?

Have you got funeral insurance or are you going to bury her in your backyard?

I was in that situation my mom tried ti commit suicied that why so I draged her kicking and screaming to the ambulance to take her to the hospital. She was there for 3 days. I still keep an eye on her cuz I'm affraid she try to do it again

Presuming you've already gone to the hospital as you should...
Keep in mind that if you're broke, and the hospital has to attend to her, getting the money from you is THEIR problem, not yours.

The real danger here is the 5000mg of acetaminophen, it could cause long term liver damage. The pm part is only Benadryl, or diphenhydramine 250 mg. I take that much in a day for allergies. She is likely to sleep for 12 hours and then have a hangover feeling. She needs help for trying to kill herself. Or on instructions on how to do it. This won't.

Give her milk
and have her eat bread her stomach is going to hurt alooooot my friend use to do that to try to kill herself then i just make her drink milk and she was ok
