  • They keep him out there in case the government decides to permit another "surprise" attack.
  • there is two opinions i have... 1.) there was never such a person the gov needed someone to blame for their own f-ups 2.) he's dead &probably was never a threat 3.) okay one more.... he made a settlement with gov to let him be...

  • He is dead, good1. He was dieing for years. He was on a kidney dialysis for years before 9/11/2001. You don't live this long with that. His underlings have been rounded up and killed. Al Qaeda does not really exist today. It was very elitist and few, anyway. They did not involve the "hoi polloi" in their organization. They just used them. The problem is the Taliban. They are still kicking and screaming. One plus against them is that they have no real central leadership. That means a lot of confusion and internal hassles for power. There has been a lot of internal killing...which is also good. But, they are still a threat and must be hounded out. And we can and will do it...just like Al Quaeda was hounded out.
  • That topography is intense! That and a few thousand allies and one could hide very well for years. ;-)
  • One would have thought that by now he or his dead body would have been found, which leads one to wonder just how big a priority his capture really was/is. Good question +5
  • You have to TRY before you can give up! We didn't even try. Iraq was first for Mr.Bush. Maybe easier.
  • I think it's about time that America opens her eyes to the fact that she does not have the power she thinks she has. Try and find him. It's only going to get worse too.
  • Speaking as I asked one guy who was over there. He said you wouldn't believe some of the natural caves and where/how big they are and deep. He said one would make the Carlsbad Caverns a mousehole in comparison. PLus, he's VERY wary, he has people setting up meets MONTHS in advance and people constantly on the watch for "Strangers"
  • Politicians are too busy being Politically correct. We still have not stood up to them and made this country as secure as it could be. Bush invested everything in Iraq. Not enough resources were put into capturing Bin Laden.
