It really depends on the size of the room into which you will put the furniture. Larger (sectional) furniture can look OK in a larger room, but will suck up all the space and energy in a smaller room. A smaller room would require a couch.

Single. The other takes too much room. With a sectional, you find yourself decorating the room around this type couch. Not so with a single.
