Do you put boiling water on your tea, or do you let it cool down 10 degrees for better brewing?

I brew black tea with boiling water as is necessary to kill microorganisms.

I use boiling water for my tea ; then I add COLD water to temper it so that I can drink it .. +5

oh i brew proper tea so i simply must let the water cool and then allow the leaves time to breath and release and then stew for a while ... or i buy twinnings and let the water cool :D i do love twinnings
