Question

Help answer this question below.

Most acne face washes contain salicylic acid which treats/drys out the acne. I noticed the other day at the store that (foot) Corn remover has the highest content of salicylic acid, about 45%. Do you think it would be ok to treat acne with it?

Back when I was a teenager I found the best way to treat acne was, to just go outside and get some sun! I tried creams, and what-not...but overall it only made things worse. If the cream or whatever you are using stings when you put it on, then it's probably harming more than helping. Go sit in the sun and let the sun get at it! It's the natural cure for acne. Don't use sunscreen! Let yourself tan naturally. Don't let yourself burn! Also, keep in mind that spending too much time in the sun will cause your skin to age prematurely. Just get a healthy amount of sunlight to your face, 25 to 40 mins. Best of luck to you!

Your body is missing a vitamin. Try taking a high dose of Vitamin A and D, (around 1000 D twice a day) and about 75mg of Zinc. Mine really cleared up a lot when I started taking it!

I'd be careful. You don't want to put something too strong on your skin. It could make it more inflamed and sore. Ask your doctor if there is anything he could suggest.
I wouldn't as someone suggested take high doses of vitamin A and D. You can seriously damage your liver doing that. There is however a derivative of vitanim A which if appropriately prescribed by a doctor which can be very effective. You could ask about that. There are also creams of the vit A derivative which can be good.

It wouldn't be advisable. No, you should ask your doctor for a prescription acne remover next time you speak to him/her. It's safer. Too much salicylic acid can burn your skin and damage it permanently.
