Is there some sort of typical response a person with good manners would have after receiving a "thank you" card? there aren't any "you're welcome" cards that i am aware of, but i don't want to be unknowingly rude.

There are "blank" cards. You can write you own. "Thanks" is always better when you word it yourself, anyway.

Maybe a phone call letting the person know that you have received the card and you appreciate the gesture.

Generally a "thank you" card doesn't require any type of response. You're not being rude by not responding. The next time you see them, you could mention the card. I personally have never thought twice about the lack of response to a "thank you" card. I can't imagine why others would.

You can make your own Thank You card using popular software like Print Master or Print Shop. On the cover you may enter a peaceful scene, like a Sunset, and a Thank You note on the inside with your own personal words. It will be better than any already made card you buy at any Card Store.

No response is required in response to a thank you card other than maybe telling the sender that you got it if you run into them.
