  • No. Here is why. Books are made from paper, which is made from trees. Paper is biodegradable, and trees are easily replanted and replaced. E readers have batteries and silicone chips and polyethylene plastic which are not biodegradable and have limited recycle capability. They will pile up in land fills over the centuries and create a toxic problem in the future. Stick with books you green weenies (not you Keithold).
