Easy Garlic Bread Recipe 3 cloves of garlic, 100gm / 3.5 oz of softened butter 2 tbsp flat leaf parsley 1 ciabatta or baguette Pre-heat the oven to 400F/200C/gas mark 6. Peel the garlic and finely chop. Mix with the butter and stir in the parsley. Using a sharp knife, make diagonal incisions about 3cm apart, as if you were slicing the loaf but without cutting right through. Take a sheet of tinfoil large enough to parcel the loaf and place the loaf in the middle. Use a knife to smear the garlic butter between the slices, close up the parcel and bake for 10 minutes. To achieve a crusted top, open the foil and bake for a further 5 minutes

Just wrap a head of garlic in some tinfoil and put it in a hot oven for about a half hour. Fresh roasted garlic. You can put that on ANYTHING and make it taste fabulous. I recommend good cheese and crackers, but plain bread would work fine, as well.

The easiest thing is to roast one or more whole heads of garlic with some olive oil. Afterward, spread on bread, mix with mashed potato, or whatever you like. http://patricklynch.net/recipes/roasted-garlic.html

Garlic and cheese sandwich: Ingredients: slice of bread, slice of cheese, butter, clove of garlic. Method -- chop garlic fine, spread butter on bread, spread garlic over butter, top with a slice of cheese. Garlic mushroom soup: Ingredients: water, sheet of Nori, ginger, 3 cloves of garlic, 3 shitake mushroom, slice of lemon, cilantro. (Cut a piece of ginger so you have about 2x as much ginger by volume as 3 cloves of garlic.) Method: Chop ginger fine, and divide into two piles, half in each pile. Bring a cup of water to a boil, use more water if you just want broth. Cut the garlic cloves and mushrooms in half, add to the water. Add half the ginger. Using scissors, cut the nori into shreds into the water, and let boil for 10 to 15 minutes. After cooking -- add the remaining ginger, and squeeze the lemon over the broth. You can also add some chopped cilantro. Enjoy!

Get a bulb of elephant garlic. NOw go to a frying pan with olive oil and butter in it slowing simmering. Now put mushrooms in there and cook till almost done and add a bit of water, or wine and sliced thin garlic as much as you like. You can add shrimp if you wish and have a yummy treat, garlic filled. Boil some spaghetti noodles and drain. Add softened, cooked garlic and butter and Romano Cheese grated over all. Add a little salt to the water you cook the pasta in and salt at the end and a little pepper.
