You think Fox gives both sides? Ha! They are tilted so far to the right that my television leans over and moans every time I turn on Fox.

i like just the facts news. sad to say it's a fact of life, i think it's human nature to steer people around and get them to see your side of things.

If you are objective and expect reporting to be objective Centrator is right on the money. Fox and these right wing pundits, most who never served, by the way, seem to get "talking points' from the Republican National Committee every morning. That's why you hear the same phrases from so many diffeent commentators. they dont think for themselves, and they don't expect you to so either.

Turn off the TV. Turn it right off and say goodbye to being spoon-fed information by the mass media.

Welcome to the internet. On the internet you can get standard wire news (including video), however you will *also* get people from all over the world picking apart news stories via the blogs.

I've found Fox News to be a valuable source of understanding the propoganda put out by various conservative elements of society. On the issue of the Iraq War, Fox News is little more than an extension of the White House Press Secretary.

I like balanced news with the pros and cons of each side of the issue with the sole goal of getting out the arguments and letting the viewer/reader decide. I don't care for news organizations that tell me how I should think, what I should think, or how I should feel. I'll do my thinking on my own, thanks.

Most other news channels seem Democratic biased to me. I'm tired of people bashing Bush and the war. I don't necessarily believe that there is much more we can do over there and wish that our troops could come home soon. I didn't trust Kerry myself and think that things would be worse if he was elected. Being a Republican I find Fox New's point of views refreshing. Just my opinion.

Yes and no. Fox News is OK but I do see them going to the right at times. CNN does it also: they had a program on Rudolf Giuliani and accused him of being unAmerican. Giuliani in reality is a very brave man that has a good heart. He is very American even though he is liberal in alot of veiws.

I hate Fox News. I think they're as wrong as they are right. And they are very right (wing). They're all biased in one direction or another, though.

They are all bias in some way or another.

My recommendation is that you watch Fox in conjunction with other news sources such as perhaps CNN or MSNBC and you should get a better grasp of the real issues.

I personally just multiple sources to make up for the fact that they all have their bias. And Jason is right most of the other news angencies have a left wing bias.

I don't see as much conservative bias in Fox as I see liberal bias in almost every other media source out there, especially Air-America. What I find truly amazing is CNN having a guy like Glen Beck on, which to me seems like a tom-cat in a bag of mice. You'll probably think he's too right-wing,(And he doesn't think he is!)but I challenge any open-minded individual to try watching his show it's very illuminating.

    JAMMco... its complicated...

My opinion, stop watching the news...

Understand that every news station will bend things to their viewpoint or only share information they view is relevant to the points they are making.

Either watch them all and gain a balanced view or don't watch it at all. Always watch the news with the understanding that it isn't the whole story. Pull out the undeniable truths and go from there... do not fall into the interpretations of what the actions mean, but look for the facts and come to your own conclusions.

Besides, Republican or Democratic aren't points of view, they are parties, not opinions.

The trick is to watch the fox "news" shows and not the dumb talk shows. Im pretty conservative and even I cant stand Hanity and Colmes or O'Reilly.
Strongly recommend Studio B and Fox Report. special report also a favorite.

Other than Thom Hartmann, I don't care much for liberal talk radio.

Still, AA being biased makes sense - it's supposed to be political commentary. There is nothing wrong with Rush Limbaugh being 'biased' either.

Fox News is supposedly NEWS....and while we can expect a bias in everything but sport scores & yesterdays weather, to any reasonable person it definitely crosses the line from bias into the realm of propaganda.

If you want to criticize a left leaning outlet - look at Democracy Now news. That is your Fox News for the left.....propaganda.

I think Fox News is the only one who gives both sides and lets you decide. Most others I have seen give only the left side. Just because Fox acually allows the conservative veiwpoint to be made does not make it biased.

Everything humans say is Bias because they say it with tone, and we pick up on it. I really like your observation because I am sick of people forming opinions without looking at both sides. How can people not see that?

Have you tried the BBC, CBC, CTV, France24, RAI, NHK, the ABC, seven, SBS? If you tried these sort of stations, you might get a different view that the Republican can't touch.

The news gets filtered heavily by the time it reaches the viewer, regardless of which news outlet you watch. My advice: watch them all; the truth is in there somewhere

it takes practice to be able to "read-between-the-lines" of today's media. most of the media is very left-wing/liberal. fox is a refreshing answer to them. have you tried Glenn Beck on CNN Headline news channel. he has more guts than Bill O'Reilly.

    Air America is beyond radical.
Fox News is about as neutral as news gets.
If your are talking about some of their commentators like Hannity, Beck or Huckabee I agree, but in all fairness, they will tell you the same.

The difference between these two is that Fox does use facts and figures. Airhead America is mindless ranting and raving.
