Sure have! It went through my class when I was very young, and I remember I got to stay home from school until it had been thoroughly treated. It was great!

I have an eight year old daughter who brings them home from school on a regular basis 8o(
-
I used to, when I was younger (8 or 9). But now I'm 17, and despite the fact that I have long hair, I stay clean.
-
I did. Twice, five years apart. Both times as an adult and from someone else's kids who they swore didn't have it. My mom caught it from my nieces and she gave it to me. And then, my friends nieces had it and her sister refused to check them. Even after I brought her one. What's really awful is both times I had hair down to my waist and had to chop it all off. And somebody else had to treat the kids because the parents wouldn't. It was awfully. My niece's heads were scabbed and they just dug and dug. Children's Services said but this is normal when we called them. And the other girls screamed like babies when we treated them.
-
No, but when my kids were in school, they did. All the kids were constantly passing them back and forth because of the parents who were too embarrassed to go and get the treatments. Thanks a LOT...now my head is itching!! LOL
-
Yep. Pretty impossible not to, when I was a kid they spread like wildfire. Trying to get them out of my hair was the hardest thing. Once I caught them for the 6th time in a row, and my mum threatened me if I got them one more time she would shave my hair off. I haven't had them for some years, but I have had to get rid of them from Georgia and Harriet who live down my rroad when I abysat them (they would tell their mums)

I haven't but my child has...I never want to go through that again!
-
No, amazingly enough. I didn't have the best hygene as a youth.
-
When I was younger, we stayed at our Aunt's house. It was there that her dogs gave us lice. It took forever to get rid of, and those were some embarrassing school days...
-
I did not have it but my oldest step daughter brought it home from school. We deliced everyone aand used that spray for the things we could not put in black plastic bags. It is a nightmare when kids bring that crap home.
-
nope but my brother has had it alot of times...
-
Nope
-
in the third grade back then they did not have any other option but to give you a buzz cut haircut.
-
Nope but my brother did - it was a mess for him
-
Yes and it was one of the worst experiences EVER!
-
Nope. Yippieeeee!
-
No, I was lucky to avoid that.
-
I did in 3rd grade too... I got it from my best friend!
-
Once -- I sat next to Brian Ely, who was positively TEEMING with them. My mother worked at my school, and had to help with the yearly inspection of the kids. I don't think she ever recovered from the experience -- for years she kept us from ever going to the movie theaters, and she freaks out if you even SAY the word "lice" around her...

Nopers:)
-
I did not but my best friend did and it was not much fun for her.
-
I had it really bad though out my childhood till i hit about 10. i think kids get it really bad though primary school and it dies down when they go though to sec school. I think the best way to get rid of head lice is that wicked shampoo that kills them after leaving it in your hair for about 10mins!! x
-
yeah, it was hella sick
-
I don tink soo!!!
