  • First and foremost, THIS IS A DANGER SIGN. It could be that he is just insecure, and if so, do the adult thing and talk about it. If he honestly has nothing to worry about (you have no intention of cheating, etc..) then just reassure him. If he is sensible he will understand. Everyone has insecurities, but it shouldn't be enough to cause a huge problem. However, I have dealt with things like this enough to know, it could very well be the opening to a controling/abusive relationship. Watch his behavior after you try to talk to him about this issue. If it is still irrational and you feel you can't do certain things because you know it will upset him, GET OUT NOW. It will not get better. I know you may not want to believe it, but please please PLEASE do yourself a favor and take care of yourself. He may be a nice guy, but if he is controling it will only get worse with time. There will always be some new event that will make him angry. Please follow up to let us know more if you deem it appropriate.
