  • I'm not worried about my record here, but he's going to have a lot of explaining to do.
  • If God insists on being a member of the less fair sex, that's His business. The psychopathic killer known as Jehovah has, as evandad said, a lot of explaining to do.
  • I don't need an excuse. IF He exists, He knows my heart, according to all of you. And He will know I lived my life without hurting others, doing my best, and caring where I could. I think that outweighs disbelief. Which is worse, believing and hating (homosexuality, for example) or not believing and caring?
  • "...or believe He is a woman..." You just lost your credibility with me.
  • If there IS a God and S/He judges me to be a bad person for reasons such as you describe, then that is a God that I do NOT respect. Any God worthy of my respect would not judge based on superficialities such as you describe. A God worthy of respect would look into the real person. I think the people who are bigots in His/Her name should watch out. If they are judged favorably despite their bigotry, that "no respect" thing comes into play from me. IF God exists, S/He is going to get an earful from me and I hope S/He has a GOOD explanation for allowing the Holocaust and such atrocities. No, I do not buy that "free will" thing because God is supposed to be all knowing, all powerful, and LOVING.
  • I don't need an excuse, he can shove his pettiness up his own self righteous ass. Any god like your god isn't worthy of his title.
  • That is the least of my issues here. If the god of the bible is real, on judgment day he'll need to be providing some answers. I'd rather spend eternity in hell than eternity with such a misogynistic, child-abusing, violent, jealous, and controlling a*hole.
  • That the elliptical and ambiguous way in which God revealed him/her/itself amounts to intent to conceal, and if punishment follows, it is by God's absolute intention to punish i.e. God is a sadist. An honest God would give a clearer revelation.
  • Sorry we had no way of knowing.
  • All I have to say is, " I don't have to do shit. You are supposed to forgive me no matter what. Isn't that what you taught? There are no hypocrites in heaven. Are you a hypocrite? No? Then forgive me or be cast into hell!" That's all. Then I walk my proud ass right on through the gates of heaven where I'll be sippin' on fine liquor while getting it on with some hot babe before the throne of God. Hahaha. We don't need Jesus. All you need is yourself and the will to succeed. ;-)
  • i don't really think god's a woman. if man was created in the image of god, and man was made first and he created woman for man, than god's most likely a man. but if he was a woman i would have no problem with that.
  • I'm pretty sure presumption of salvation is a sin. And, this question isn't a "real" question asked for an answer. It is only a means for argument and/or presenting a specific view. Ask a legitimate question to get a legitimate answer.
  • If that happens, God has a lot of explaining to do.
  • I'll tell 'im that the supernatural is impossible and therefore he is just someone's imagination. Then I'll go to my eternal dimension where time does not exist where I musta come from.
  • Yeah I think this is all ridiculous. If any of you have ever seen the Bill Maher's documentary, Religulous, then you will understand how I feel about all of this. It is not a matter of if there is a god or what he or she is like or which religion to follow. Why does any of that matter? If god is forgiving and a greater being like religion usually says he is then why should it matter if I pray or not. I shouldn't have to get to church every sunday in order to get into heaven. Why do we put so much emphasis on religion instead of living our lives for ourselves. Live life to the fullest and don't worry about your views on god.
  • With all due respect, your question is ridiculous! If someone doesn't believe in a deity, it follows logically that they don't expect to stand before him/her/it on the day of judgement or any other day...
  • "You never showed up. How could we know?"
  • hi bob! hi god! so, you didn't follow a conservative, christian fudamentalist upbringing. no sir. and why didn't you, bob? i was born in new jersey, sir. oh gosh, you've already suffered tremendously, let him in.
  • Not believing in God or thinking that God is a woman are NOT sins worthy of going to hell! Besides, God does not obviously reveal itself to us, so how in all of hell does god expects us to know whether he is boy or girl or even exists in the 1st place? People will be judged by their actions, not by the amount of knowledge they managed to gather over time.
  • I have lived my life with patience, love and care for the world around me. If "God" exists and I come to stand before "him", if my only crime is that I had the wits about me to doubt what I cannot see or feel, any true accepting and caring god would recognized that is no crime. The angels have no gender, as the all creating god most likely has no gender. So there should be no crime in believing "him" to be male or female. If I have to run the risk of being condemned simply for living a life free of fear, I will take that risk. I will not live my life in reserve and fear in the possibility that there is a vengeful and corrupt god who will allow me to suffer forever because I did not acknowledge him. How vain is "God"?
  • Your answer is too biased. It's impossible to give an answer to a question like that. You've already assumed the correct answer.
