  • You are right about true love meaning that you accept a person unconditionally and never try to change them. +5
  • You don't give up your identity just 'cause someone has a problem w/ it. Allowences and tolerance are required, but to ask someone to conform to him/her is manipulative and control freak and immature.
  • It's not about who is right, but about which of you are being more realistic, I'm on your side hun. Perfection does not exist.
  • neither of you are completely right or completely wrong. I feel that the person I love is perfect, although I am sure others wouldn't feel the same. You should be picking though, otherwise you are going to waste alot of time.
  • its not about who is right or wrong. You are right to think that if you love someone you should accept them; the excpetion in this case is destructive behavior. If they have a problem with drugs, alcohol, sex or porn addiction (things that destroy the lives of the people who care about them)then it is loving to ask them to seek help. What are his expectations? Are they reasonable? Or are they selfish, controlling, manipulative and always in HIS best interest?
