What are some ways to slow down the growth of a rat's tumor? My rat is 4 1/2 years old and i'd like her to pass from old age and not have to suffer from a large tumor like her sister did. Euthanasia is NOT an option!

You vet can give you some powerful pain remedies so the animal will not suffer.

If she is suffering, then you should not say euthanasia is not an option. You should say you will do it for HER, rather than keeping her for you.

Her sister had a very large tumor before she died and was still moving around and seemed happy. she was even trying to climb still. She still gave kisses and acted almost like normal. I was going to euthanize the one who has passed in january of 09 and she just passed 3 weeks ago That is why euthanasia is not an option, clearly it wasn't her sister's time to go, and i don't want to chose when the one i still have has to die either. i have found a supplement for stopping the growth and possibly shrinking the size of tumors thank you for nothing.

one word - MARIJUANA! the THC kills aging cells which prevents them from becoming cancerous or a tumor and can completely stop cut the growth in half. its been tried on rats and worked, on humans too.
