What do you think of the democrats latest proposal for health care reform.....to tax people who don't get health insurance? How much money does the insurance industry give to politicians anyway?

Makes perfect sense to politicians who are knee deep in money from the insurance industry! The insurance industry is a huge part of the problem in regards to exorbitant health care costs so the government is going to force everyone to buy insurance or tax them if they don't.

Found another one. I've heard a lot of things about Glenn Beck, so I was hesitant to watch him. I was told he was insanely far right, but he's absolutely not. He is an equal-opportunity basher. He tells Republicans about their mistakes too, the liberals just seem to be giving him more ammo against them, but they control the House, Senate, and the Executive Branch, so really, is that a surprise? Especially with their popularity fast diminishing.

Obama shouldn't be president. He has not proven that he is a natural born American citizen. He released a scan of a birth certificate, but it even looks like a forgery if you know what you are looking for. He has not let experts examine the paper document to confirm it is real.

Do I think it's real?

No, I was born in 1981,so I can be fairly certain of a few things. That document is definitely a fake in my opinion. Here's how I can tell. If it was a real birth certificate, it would have a few things that it mysteriousnly lacks. It would have the hospitals name, the attending physicians signature, and the hospital administrators signature. These are mysteriously missing. Also, as recently as 1981, original birth certificates DID NOT feature the certificate number, at least not in Oregon. Also, my birth certificate had the relevent facts written in with a pen, while Obama's certificate appears to have been printed on a computer. A computer in 1961?

There is another possibility, though, so you know I am thorough. If you get a replacement certificate issued to you, it looks closer to what was placed on the net as Obama's certificate, but it's still not quite right.

The text would look something like this:

Certification of Vital Record
Department of human Services
Oregon Health Division, Center for Health Statistics

Certificate of Live Birth

Then it goes into the details. Missing on my replacement certificate, though, is any reference to race. Mine has my parent's names and where they were born, but neither my original certificate or the state issued replacements even have a place on then for my parents' races.

Okay, that might be different from state to state, but these last two are standardized and noticably missing. First, all newly issued replacement certificates MUST have the states watermark, and there is no watermark on Obama's.

And, on a true document this or something similar should be on it:

I CERTIFY THAT THIS IS A TRUE, FULL AND CORRECT COPY OF THE ORIGINAL CERTIFICATE OR THE VITAL RECORD FACTS ON FILE IN THE VITAL RECORDS UNIT OF THE OREGON HEALTH DIVISION.

I'm no expert, but on these grounds, combined with the fact that Obama has never let experts examine the document, convinces me that it is a fake. If he had to fake the document, then what is he hiding? Could it be that he was born outside the USA?

That would mean he ran under false grounds and enery vote he got would be invalidated, pissing off a lot of democrats, because in that situation, Joe Biden would not be the next President. John McCain would. Also any law or bill that Obama signs would be reversed because he should not have been president to begin with. In short, if he really is an naturally born american citizen he should be willing to prove it.

Many of you will think that since his mother was American, so should he be. It does not work that way. His mother was too young. Attepts were made to convice Barack Obama to hand over the paper copy of his birth certificate, and he refused. They couldn't find anything conclusive. The State of Hawaii would neither confirm nor deny the existence of a birth certificate. Eventually a scan of the alleged birth certificate was released through a third party. Experts found it questionable, and asked to examine the paper copy, which was refused. Notably, Obama had previously stated he was born in 1959, but the Birth Certificate says 1961, but he made up some excuse I can't remember. They also found out that Obama's mother was in Washington during the month Obama now alleges he was born, but they cannot prove she was there the whole month, or that he was even born in 1961. There's just no paper record, so they were unable to prove anything. But as I said, he has been deliberately not helping to disprove the alligations. The one piece of paper that could prove he is an American Citizen is that certificate, if it's real, but at this point I genuinely doubt it. In other words, Anastasia is no longer the greatest con in history.

I do believe he is a citizen of the US, the main reason of me believing this is the fact of politicians digging up dirt, do you really believe that any politician would let him get away with this, they would dig into this if it were indeed true and get him thrown out, especially the republicans.
If this is indeed true that he is not a Citizen of the US, why haven't the republicans dug up the real truth, they would like nothing more then to throw him out.
I am not going to say its impossible, but if its true, he has hidden this so well that no amount of money can dig it up???
It just doesn't make sense.
Anyhow as i said earlier thanks for the links, i viewed the one on Gitmo, it was a good vid for sure, and i do also like Glen Beck, he is a bit more right then left, but i also believe he does try to stand in the middle, its just the things that are happening right now tend to make him stick out on the right a lot more.

I said that they have tried. They just can't find conclusive evidence in either direction. And that's the exact impression I got of Glenn Beck when I actually watched it. I feel slightly stupid for not watching sooner because I was told he was far right, and I wanted nothing to do with either extreme, you know?

By the way, if Obama is an American citizen, why hasn't he turned over the birth certificate to have it validated? He is the one and only person in a position to disprove the rumors and he's not doing it. Also, how stupid does one have to be to know that there weren't computers in 1961 that printed up birth certificates. His alleged birth certificate looks like it was printed on a computer, not hand written at all. Too neat and straight. If someone did it in one sitting on a typewriter it still wouldn't come out that straight because I used typewriters in my childhood, it was damn hard to get that paper to go in exactly straight. In other words I'd expect the text to have a slight lean to it. Also I think it looks more like a modern computer script then one from a typewriter.

I was responding your comment about it sounding more Republican. Currently the Democrats control both houses of Congress so at the present time they have the most influence as to what goes into a bill. All the talk that we have been hearing about health care so far is simply what the varous comittees are coming up with to send to the floor. Then all members will get a chance to add addendums, call for changes, make tradeoffs, etc. Then the house and the senate will have to come up with a compromise of their respective bills before there is any actual bill to be voted on by all members of Congress. I am pretty sure are aware of all this though.
