Help answer this question below.

Model 50 p8341,stopped working,can hear a weird noise by bulb on right hand side,removed bulb and found a odd fluid.is it fixable?what should i do ,thanks.

    You should probably contact Philips about the matter. The bulb does contain mercury, which is very dangerous--you shouldn't try to clean that up yourself if that's what it is.

    For your reference, mercury is a silver-grey liquid metal. It has a very high surface tension, so it will appear very "blobby" in comparison to other liquids. It can be absorbed through the skin and causes irreparable neurological damage at high levels of exposure.
