I've asked christians this before, they said "yes".
-
That is kinda the way it's written. If anyone sees Hitler up there drop me a line - OK?
-
Yes, there is no sin that Blood of Christ can't atone for.
-
Wouldn't he have to genuinely repent first? "Hello Christ, I accept you as my Saviour" isn't really enough, is it?
-
Assuming he had repented, and was genuinely sorry for his acts, then yes.
-
Yes, if he truly repented and believed upon Jesus Christ as His Savior. The blood of Jesus Christ can cleanse any sin. -In the Master's service. Thank you and God bless you!

I presume you're talking about the real Hitler, not some science-fictional Hitler in a parallel universe. Hitler's last act on earth was to send himself to hell by blowing his brains out instead of facing trial and execution for his crimes. During such a trial, he would have had a fantastic opportunity to testify about Christ, but of course he didn't use it because Hitler was intent on founding a new religion with Uncle Adolf himself as savior and lord. For your hypothetical question, you'll have to pick someone else, and to that I will answer: Eternity is a real place where we will exist and do things forever. Christians believe that repentance and believing in Jesus equals asking God to take us to a place where it is impossible for us to sin. There are a lot of people who, if they found themselves in heaven, would think they were in hell and would want to get out! For all eternity in heaven we will be doing good, creative work without sin; and that is why it is not unjust for our eternity to be determined by what may happen very near the end of life.

Hitler could have accepted whatever and whomever he liked and it would have made no difference to what he had done
-
It is my opinion that God forgives everyone but you still have to make a compensation for any crimes you've made against humanity

Assuming that for the purpose of this question, you and I agree that Christianity is 'real' Yes. It sure does not seem 'fair' does it, but on the other hand if we all got what we deserve I fear most of us would be thigh-high in effluvium. I could not forgive him personally - but thats OK because years ago a miracle occured when I suddenly realised that I am not God... so I am not held to His standards....
-
Yes. This is what salvation is all about and the parables of the prodigal son, the lost sheep, and the lost coin. IF this ever happened then there would be great rejoicing in heavan. With love in Christ.

According to Christian teaching, yes. We have the example of the thief on the cross who repented last minute and was forgiven. Of course, the thief did not commit the horrors committed by Hitler, and every bone in our bodies wonders why God would hypothetically forgive such a monster... but there would be justice in it (assuming it happened) Let me explain: 1)God is holy and perfect. He cannot permit any sin (rebellion/disobedience into His presence, and, by extension, into Heaven. Therefore, by this standard, no human can enter heaven because all have sinned (rebelled/disobeyed) against God and His laws. 2)BUT God is also loving and full of mercy, so He paid the penalty for sin (rebellion/disobedience) by sending His one and only Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus died on the Cross in our place, taking the penalty for all sin (rebellion/disobedience) on His shoulders. By acknowledging our sin and asking forgiveness because of the death of Jesus, our sins can be covered over/ wiped out/cancelled and we can, once again, come into the presence of God. This is ultimate justice, because no one has an advantage or disadvantage. Salvation from sin is because of Jesus, not because of anything anyone has done or not done. 3)Where some people go wrong at this point is to realise that, although our sins are forgiven, there must be a surrender to Jesus, and a filling with the Holy Spirit after the forgiveness. If we are forgiven, we must live like forgiven people, and be slowly transformed into the image of Jesus. It isn't just a matter of saying a few words and whoosh! we are forgiven and that's that. It is a life-long commitment. Part of that commitment might be to make earthly reparation for what we have done, as much as is possible. eg if we stole something, return it. If we cannot return it, then pay twice the price of the item (that is an OT teaching). So where would that leave Hitler, hypothesising that he had repented (accepted Jesus) before he died? One would hope that, having made that decision, that Hitler would have, then, decided to make whatever reparation he could for his sins. If that meant, accepting arrest, trial, and execution, then so be it. I have heard of murderers on death row who have accepted Christ, but made no move to ask for clemency, saying that, even though they were forgiven by God, they still had to make reparations on earth for their sins. I may be judgmental, but I think that Hitler's suicide before he could be brought to trial, shows that he was unrepentant, but, in the end, God alone knows the heart.

Hypothetical questions can be so misleading! There is no evidence that Hitler did and God is the only judge! Where in the bible do you get accepting Jesus as Saviour? The bible tell us that if we repent believe and be baptised then we will be saved!
-
If when Adolph Hitler accepted Christ, he truely repented of his sins, then yes, God would forgive all his crimes and sins. They would be buried in the deepest seas, and God would remember them no more.
-
It is not so simple just "accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior." Your works and deeds are also considered in salvation. That is the doctrine. It also fits with sense.
-
yes, but us as human beings would still judge and hate him. Isn't hate a sin? Idk. But still God can forgive anyone. We can too. Just have to try hard
-
HE said HE would...but thats because only HE knows in his HEART if he trully did...thats HIS JUDGEMENT call, not ours...:)justme
