drugs. Or find another travel partner. My 'other half' is the same way. She won't geton a plane for anything. Had to knock her out with drugs to get her to a funeral across the country, and she was hysterical leading up to the trip. You shouldn't have a problem getting someone else to take his seat:-)))

That was my dad's intention for more than twenty years but never could convince my mom to fly. Actually with all the planes that crash in here these days I say she's the wise one!

Hmmmm, this really isn't something you can ask your husband to compromise on so you'll just have to accept it. My suggestion would be to look at alternative ways to travel, train, boat etc. Either that, or find a different travel companion that your husband is cool with, then take separate holidays.
