yup ... hurt like hell ... but looking back, i realized that she wasn't who i needed to be with at the time ... and i wasn't the guy she needed either ... but it didn't make it any easier at the time ... i still miss her and think about calling or emailing her, but i know its best i don't ...

Yes, this past spring. Its been extremely painful to work through, but I'm doing so much better now. (Thanks much to old & new friends' support, including understanding friends here on AB --- :) .) I hope & trust she's doing well, too. I'd inadvertently told someone else something she'd told me in confidence, so I understand why she did so, even though I'd told a mutual friend so that we could pray for my then best friend, which we did do. (And my former best friend found out about it through me, not through anyone else telling her.) But that's life, sometimes. And I have learned from this.
