No. It is the nature of humans to understand the world and try and constantly improve themselves (even if this is not always successful). And for what it's worth I don't believe in God...

yes. people get so upset at the thought there is something out there that is better than them that they don't believe in it. i know some atheists like that and they get on my nerves.
