I am really confused?
Began speaking to a girl as she showed signs she had a crush on me, asked her out after 2 weeks but she rejected me. So we became friends but she still shows signs she likes me, staring at me, eye contact, flipping hair and sliming.

All the smiling, hair flipping whatever doesn't mean much in light of the fact that she had an opportunity to be with you, knew you were interested in her but chose not to. She may just like flirting, knowing it's having an effect on you. An ego boost for her. Who knows?! But the bottom line remains. She still isn't wanting to date you.
