    you will not get the proper amount of gas to the motor and the motor will run very badly and the gas could leak out of the fuel pump which would cause many problems as well as it would start a fire I would be sure to have a professional install a fuel pump because even though it can be easily done it is a part I would rather a mechanic would be doing my son is a mechanic and he would definitely agree
