Your question is not legally valid. No, I would not. Read on: Bad, bad idea!!! No end of parent causing problems and grief. Call Child Protective Services instead. If you don't you will be not be following the law. Every State makes everyone, including you, responsible for reporting the type of situation you describe. The law will take care of the problem depending on the legal definition and determination of abuse and what is best for the children. I have been a CPS worker.

I would do everything I could to get them out of that situation. If there were other family members who were able and willing to raise them (and stable), that would be the best environment for them. Otherwise, I probably would take them in.
