  • That means her dad has sole/primary custody of her. When that happens, the courts have a damn good reason for awarding custody to a father. There is some reason her mother wasn't allowed shared custody, so there is no way in hell I am going to be able to do any better than a judge, helping this girl. Frankly, I'd rather have her with an over-protective parent, than a mother who is such a piss-poor parent that she wasn't even allowed partial custody. I wish the very best for your friend. +5
