  • Can't say exactly. I am sure some scientist knows, but the radius from the center of the earth to the surface varies, because the earth is not a perfect sphere.

  • I ran around the outside, took note of how long it took me. Then I measured the circumfrence? divided it by the time it took me to run around the outside, adjusting the times to meet the local time, deducting stops for natural thingies. After a lot of consideration, I took the circumfrence of the globe, divided it by two and found the true measurement. I will wait until I see the other answers before telling you mine.
