A good bet for an enema I heard is to mix equal parts of milk and molasses. They say it really works.

"Colon Cleansing" is a worthless quackery fad that has been around for a long time. It's only proven benefit is to those who profit from selling enema kits, and other products to gullible suckers in pursuit of this scam. With friends like that, who needs enemas?

Try one of those home anema kits. But if I were you, I'll google the search engines for "fasting" tips.

That depends on how 'clean' your colon needs to be. I find that a bag or two of dried apple chips from the grocery store do the trick for me.

    1. Dieting on just citrus fruits of any kind and water for duration of just three to four days.

    2. Salt water flush which requires you to drink two quarts of pure water mixed with two teaspoons of sea salt. The mixture can be easily taken throughout the morning and afternoon.

    3. Fennel and garlic purify the system by getting rid of harmful bacteria. Adding these to your food choices would help increase the benefit of a natural diet.

Colon Therapy does work. If you decide to wait for scientific proof and the monopoly of doctors cutting and feeding pills to tell you that then you will be ignorant to this in your life time, and might rob your decedents of a possible solution to health.

Ignorance is bliss, you don't have to believe me but as an athlete for over 24 years, corporate rep eating fast on the go and someone who would have never considered such an option with extreme prejudice do to egotistical reasoning, I have seen benefits.

It's a shame that these people try to help us and devote years of there time and training into the care of our bodies and can not legally claim any benefits, even though I know it is true.

Medicine is good and necessary, but to de-credit new procedures puts you in the same class as doctors 60 back telling millions it could never be done.

Here is who I trust with my health

A "remedy" for colon cleansing would be NOT to do colon cleansing.

That's as cheap as you get.

Bentonite clay is the best colon cleanse there is, it was used by Native Americans and works really well on your face too, its not exactly a home remedy, but you can get it delivered to your home very cheap.

go on ebay and buy 2 pounds of bentonite clay, you mix some in water and drink it while fasting for 2 days or more if you like. the stuff you poop out is amazing and you will be disgusted this was in your colon. It is absorbent and cannot be digested, so it sucks out all the toxins and everything that has been collecting in your colon. Do some research on bentonite clay, it is the absolute best and cheapest colon cleanse you can find.

I don't think my first post worked. Well I was saying, is it bad to smoke while on a colon cleanse diet? I was researching online and found no information about how smoking habits are effected during a colon cleanse.

    Monthly Regiment

Mine is quite simple and rather inexpensive. I basically fast for a day only drinking juices mixed with a psyllium fibre husk powder that you can buy in bulk in almost any health food store (3 bucks worth will last you months). I also drink vegetable juice with a few drops of oregano oil and cayenne. The oregano oil helps kill any bacteria, the cayenne is great cuz I just like spicy stuff. But I hear its good for your heart too! Or you can use a couple of tablespoons of colloidal silver. (I make this stuff myself for free... google it and you will learn how yourself). Colloidal silver is the wonder drug and has been used for centuries.

Here comes the part that may make a few of you queezy... but here it goes. By 4 pm alot of that stuff I drank will have settled. I then make some peppermint tea or licorice tea... almost any herbal tea will do. I drink that and massage my stomach. Then I take a shower. You have to have a shower hose that the shower head can be removed. Make sure the water is comfortably warm ... and make sure you have a gentle pressure. Stick the end in your ass and proceed to fill yourself up. When you are full... remove and try to hold it all in for at least 5 minutes. Lie down in the tub and even raise your butt up a bit this will dislodge alot of fecal matter in the upper colon. At the point that you can't hold it in anynore make your way to the toilet and release. You will have to do this many times until you are finally excreting just clear water.

Continue your evening just drinking juices with psyllium fibre and repeat the above process before you go to bed.

The final thing you have to do is replace the good bacteria. You can do this by eating home made yogurt (store bought is pasturized so it won't work) or take a couple of Acidophilus pills. Also at your health food store... 5 bucks for like 180 capsules.

This can all be done on a weekend! You will feel incredible when you go back to work on monday!

Once a year I do a total cleanse that lasts for about 7 days and take herbs which dislodge the clingy stuff in your colon... google it and there are many different processes you can take. Research it well before you do the 7 day cleanse.

The benefits I have noticed are:
    body aches seem to disappear
    more energy
    better skin tone
eyes clear up and look youthfull, including better sight. I'm 47 and still don't wear glasses.
I don't get hunger pains as much
    fresh breath
    better thought processing
and an all around feeling of well being and calmness...

If you have the guts give it a try!
    xcuse the pun lol
