i have heard it does, but it makes no sense to me and ill stick to something cold when its hot and something hot when its cold. ;)

Bleh, not at all. When it's really hot, I like to drink the coldest thing I can find.

Apparently it does. A hot drink will warm your body up. On a hot day this will make you sweat, which in turn makes you cooler. Which is the whole point of sweating. To keep us cool.

Drinking five cups of coffee on a hot day certainly keeps me well hydrated. Whether the beverage is hot or cold isn't of much importance. The important thing to worry about in hot weather is dehydration.
