He's an eminently educated and experienced politician and writer. If he has the necessary credentials, then I don't see why not. The American public needs to get off its pedestal when it comes to judging people like Spitzer. Over HALF of all marriages in the US fail these days --- the rate of extramarital affairs is not disproportionately high in politicians...it just appears to be so, since we hear about every one of them; you don't hear about all the affairs happening between those outside the public eye. If the choice is between competance and chastity --- the choice is obvious: Anybody can be chaste; not anybody can be competant.

The thing about eliot is... he seemed to be effective at a time when we needed someone to be. (I mean by cleaning up wall street) But he stepped on too many toes, hard. . Maybe as a lawmaker he could have come full circle and changed the some wall street rules in order to stop the nonsense that brought us here. BUT . Nobody messes with goldman sachs even indirectly... . So old number 9... I don't have a daughter but I would like to take his class.
