I think since the DR system is pointless (pun intended); it should be done away with, forcing the trolls and losers to instead explain why they don't agree with a question or answer. How many of you would like that? I'll be suggesting to AB staff.

I would certainly agree with you. But you must remember that the same suggestion has been made time and again in the past. The suggestion never produced any positive result. I suggest you get your petition written by a lawyer! That might work!

I don't know, I think if AB takes away the DRing trolls may start flagging questions/answers which could result in a bigger problem.

This is the first website i've ever been to that has this point system and personally I find it childish. Would be much better without it as the old saying rings true that you everyone won't agree with you on everything. Being downrated just because you hold a opinion that is different from others is unfair and will put people off from posting their true thoughts. I will never be downrating anyone. They can downrate me as much as they like like a bully and I like to think i'll rise above it and won't respond by deducting points. I'd rather respond by using the English vocabulary instead.

I agree however as often as this idea has come up it must have been mentioned to them 100 times by now.
