    This is known as senior or senile decay.There is no minimum age for it to start as it manifests it when you least suspect it.My wife claims that I have been suffering from it for at least 40 years.I deny this.But cant remember .As mentioned one of the effects is that you walk into a room and cant remember why you are there.What you have to do is walk backwards and hope that you can remember where you came from.By the time you have reached your arrival you may have remembered what you were going to do when you got to your destination. Other manifestations are finding yourself in front of the fridge with a raised hammer in your hand and not knowing what you were going to do with it or finding yourself half on the stairs and not knowing whether you were going up or coming down. There are of course many other signs and symptoms
