    OPINION HERE FOLKS:

I think she is being an excellent friend. Why someone has to curse when there are so many great words in the English language will always be a mystery to me. I don't curse because I want to be perceived as a person of intelligence, dignity and character. This shows the world that I am a person to be respected because I respect myself.

She needs to enter reality. People swear. The world is not perfect. She may be your friend, but that's just f**king annoying!

I think you are lucky to have her as a friend, as she says she does it when nobody is around.

If I had a friend that was constantly using bad language in public which a lot of people find ignorant and offensive I would tell them to shut up and if they did not stop I would find somebody else to hang out with.

You are judged according to the company you keep and constant bad language is on the whole, considered to be used by ignorant people who lack the vocabulary to express themselves in any other way.

Maybe it offends her,it sounds filthy, especially coming from a girl. You dont need to swear.Maybe if you hurt yourself, but not to replace words.Eg you dont need to say, I f**ked up on the maths test, just say you didnt do well, or that was a f**king great part, just say that was an awesome party.Casual swearing is awful, especially in nearly every sentence. But nowdays it would be really unusual to go an hour at school without hearing the f word.No wonder the world is like it is.

It shows EXTREMELY bad manners and bad taste to use profanity. It's also a sign of a poorly educated mind and a limited vocabulary! Therefore, it's probably VERY embarrassing to your friend because your friends reflect, on a whole, the type of person YOU are, too! It's the 'ole saying, "Birds of a feather, flock together!" ! And she DOESN'T want to be looked at that way by other people!

Yeah I think she is being a good friend. We all (well most of us) say the F word. It is wehere we say it, how we use it and with whom we are with when using it that can be important. I do use the word by myself, I don't use it in casual conversaton and I don't use it at work, while out shopping, etc. I have used it quiely to myself when in apublic place (I was trying to change a tire on the car and slipped...F***king Hell was what I said). So there are degrees. Maybe your friend doesn't want to hear casual usage from you. It can sound really vulgar. Maybe she wants you to lift your game...try harder, have some control over what comes out of your mouth, think about what you say and how you say it.
    Anyway that's my opinion.

My friend curses all the time. Not intentionally though.

I tell her to stop because it sounds stupid. Just because half the world does it including me, doesn't mean that she should too. She's better than that.

    And so are you.

She is NOT being a fgood friend...not at all ! If she was a good friend, she wouldn't care. Just ignore her and keep on saying it!

Swearing gets annoying when used excessively. Don't alter how you speak if you don't want to just because it bothers her. That's who you are. Out of respect for her, because she is your friend, you could try to not swear as much as possible when you're around her.

People who say "darn" instead of "damn" amuse me.
Both words mean the same thing.. "damn" is no worse than "darn."

Not all people swear. Swearing ingeneral conversation is pretty low class. If you bang you head and you say %#$@ then okay, but if you are f this and f that then it does make you look kinda bad.

I guess it comes down to what image do you want to portray to the world?

Timing my friend, timing. Ever heard of comedic timing?...well, it's important for the message to be effective. Random cussing makes you look desperate for attention. Ewww. (so embarrassing)

    or

She thinks cussing is a private thing between friends.

    or

Your friend thinks highly of you and doesn't want you to pick up her potty mouth ways.
