I just read an article in Us Weekly about celebrities' drug use in Hollywood and how out of hand it's become. What kind of society do we live in that passes this kind of behavior as another "trend," and do you find this acceptable or not?

...and to continually keep reporting on it...I often wonder...that is why I do not buy magazines like this...and try to avoid most of the shows and articles about them...inevitably you still find out, but it fades into something less significant when you don't focus on it.

Hey, people can do whatever they want. I really don't care. If they want to get high on paint thinner or whatever it is they are into now, so be it.

Celebrity drug use in Hollywood is nothing new. Drug use in Hollywood is as old as Hollywood itself. It is not a trend its a fact of life for many of the celebrities. It is not acceptable in my opinion; it is tragic.

And we still sigh and say that's so sad. Or point and laugh and say what an idiot. Too much money and too many "yes" people around them, no one to hold them accountable. You think we would have any actors if the studios implimented a drug-test policy? Or football or baseball players? That's what a good union does, gets the do-gooders off your back so you can smoke, drink, snort and screw off all you want with no consequence. And if you get caught? That's what lawyers are for. The difference between the high and mighty and us common folk.
