I agree that in this sense of attack and provocation it should not be allowed, however in other circumstances when simply quoting or mentioning, it is acceptable. It's sort of AB etiquette

I agree. These questions should generally be flagged as offensive... the moderators will remove them.

Unfortunately I would have to say that I don't agree on this one, because despite the fact that there are a few offensive questions towards certain users, a fellow Answerbagger could have a desire to ask a direct question to another member e.g. regarding their avatar etc. I think we should just let the mods deal with the questions you speak of

I didn't see them...or I was too thick to realise that they were an attack on someone...did I take part unintentionally...I hope not.

Perhaps not anything *That* drastic. If you notice questions making personal attacks apon ABers, then feel free to flagg them. Or if it's a chronic issue involving one user running a vendetta againts another, then maybe even report them to the staff. But I don't think any precaution as major as banning user references all together needs to be taken. People should be trusted to be civil to eachother, it's a website, not a communist state.

no i don't agree,if you find them offensive then flag them and let the moderators deal with it.
