First you have to ask what's your motive and why are you so wrapped up in the drama? How do you know the person is an addict? It doesn't hurt to take your friend to an AA or NA meeting or even an Al-Anon or NA-Anon meeting and let them see the signs themself.

Nothing.. I don't hop in anyone elses skin. They know they have problems and if they want to live with them then it doesn't concern you or shouldn't anyway.

I suspect you have a couple issues here. First, your friend may not be in denial at all...just unable to find a way to deal with the issue. Next, it's really not your issue. However, you can offer your support and love for your good friend, listen to them and empathize with them (without offering advice or to "fix" anything).
