There's not much you can do. Just keep being yourself and someday the right woman will come along. She'll appreciate everything you are and everything you have to offer.

Wait and hope to find the right person? It is hard to commit to a military man, it takes a special person willing to do that.

These things take time, if you're planning on doing it right. You could settle for the first girl who gives you the time of day, but divorces can be costly. Slow down! +5

I'm not a woman, by any stretch of the imagination, but I DO have a suggestion: Quit looking for a woman who wants to commit to a relationship. That's too specific, and generally something you don't need to worry about in the beginning anyway. What you REALLY need to do, in my opinion and experience, is simply find yourself someone you can go out and have fun with. And by "have fun with" I DON'T mean someone to have sex with. Find someone who is happy to get out and DO things with you that you both enjoy. Going to the beach, shopping flea markets, browsing used book stores, fishing, swimming, trips to the mountains, whatever. The point being that first and foremost the two of you LIKE to be together doing the things that you both enjoy. If you can't do that, then what's the point in being together, especially if ultimately you hope to find someone for a long term relationship? The goal ISN'T a committed relationship. It's a committed relationship with someone who LIKES the idea of being with you for who you are...and vice versa. Not everyone you meet will fit that criteria. Probably most will not. But that's part of dating...finding out about each other, having fun, and if it doesn't work out you move on. Too many people are hung up on dating, thinking that any given person they go out with MUST be 'the one'. Then they get disappointed and depressed when it doesn't work out. Why? Because those are unrealistic goals. So date some nice ladies and simply HAVE FUN! Everything else will fall into place from there, if it's going to work out to be a long term relationship. Good luck!
