  • Jesus said no man knows the hour.I could careless what 12:12:12 is suppose to be.The bible says nothing about it.
  • Some will. I just need to know their addresses so I can know where to start the looting and which women to hit on for sex on 12/11/12.
  • I think anyone who does choose suicide is crazy. I have seen too many "doomsday" dates come and go to get very concerned. So far, life has gone on. I believe it will continue to do so. Good question. +5
  • There are nut jobs every where. Heavens Gate comes to mind. It is sad to think that people will be so mislead as to commit suicide on a day just like the day before and after.
  • I hope not. One 16 year old girl committed suicide over hyped up fears about the start up of the Large Hadron Collider. These predictions are scare tactics, conspiracy theories, and chances to make money from books and movies. Ever since the Y2K and 6/6/6 (June 6, 2006) End of the World scenarios did not pan out, the scare mongers, conspiracy theorists, book sellers, and television executives have been touting the 2012 End of the World scenario. When 2012 does not happen either, I am sure they will think of something else. Here is also what NASA thinks about the 2012 End of the World scenario: http://pwg.gsfc.nasa.gov/stargaze/StarFAQ18.htm#q306 If you want a bit more information on the 2012 hoax, try: http://www.2012hoax.org "But of that day or hour, no one knows, neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Be watchful! Be alert! You do not know when the time will come." (Mark 13:32-33) Jesus told us in no uncertain terms that we were not to know when the end of the world would come but that we were always to be ready. The early Christian Church thought that Jesus was going to return at any moment. Only after a couple of centuries did the Church realize that it may be 2,000 or 4,000 or 8,000 years before Jesus returns. The Catholic Church wisely follows Jesus' advice and teaches that each of us should live as if we will meet our maker in the next ten minutes and that we need to work to make the world a better place for our 100 X great-grandchildren. Do not worry about the end of the world. Trust God to make sure everything happens to plan. Just be ready to meet God at any time. For more information, about what Catholics believe about the end of the world, see: http://www.americancatholic.org/Newsletters/CU/ac0993.asp With love in Christ.
  • Probably, but it seems kind of redundant to kill yourself if you believe you are going to die anyway.
  • Possibly. The good thing is that it'll be less traffic in the morning commute.
  • That would be great. The average IQ of the world should rise by at least 10 points.
  • It's likely. People get sucked into this sort of thing and get carried away. I think there will also be a lot of people getting ready for the rapture. They'll all be a little upset when nothing happens, methinks.
  • Where did that date, 12/12/12, come from? It's not the mayan "doomsday" prophecy. The supposed Mayan doomsday is Dec 21, 2012, NOT Dec 12. I think it's crap anyway, so I HOPE there will be no mass suicide. That would be ridiculous. But I'll definately be having sex at the time. ;)
  • If there is I will see it as perhaps a draining of the shallow end of the gene pool.
  • I truly hope not. No one knows the day or hour of the end of the world
  • That would be hilarious. Leave it to people with intelligence levels low enough to believe in such superstitions as the Mayan doomsday, Nostradamus, the bible, The Book of Mormon, Scientology -- and all the rest -- to get the freaking date wrong. It's not scheduled until nine days later on December 21st.
  • Let's hope so! I just hope they're not also homicidal too.
  • Yep cause some people are just idiots like that and get all paranoid.
