I look forward to it....I am never lonely when I am alone I just enjoy the quiet. But that is because I have family when I feel the need to be sociable. If I didn't have loved ones being alone would be the worst feeling in the world and my heart goes out to anyone who is alone for that reason.

Yes, every time I want to spent a little time alone, somebody needs me or bothers me. I get so much accomplished when I'm alone, which is rare. Even the pets get in my way sometimes, but I can't get angry with them, they love me!

i love it. it's stress-free time to just calm down and not care how i look or act or feel. i usually play my nerdy internet games (solitaire, texttwist). it's so relaxing. even though i love going out with friends, sometimes i just prefer being alone and doing absolutely NOTHING :)

Yeah its definetley needed, can't be around people all the time. However if your not in such a good state of mind then being on your own can be pretty bad. Nothing worse that being alone with your thoughts sometimes.

"Time alone" does that consist of being on the internet talking with people through Emails, chat rooms Instant Messages or the like? "Time alone" to me is laying down reading a book in a home that has only me in it. No phones ringing, no door bells dinging no babies crying, dogs barking - pure silence ~ ahhhhhhh - yes I LOVE alone time

Yes, I do now. When I lived alone I was fine if I had something in the pipeline, like meeting someone for coffee in a couple of days time to look forward to. Now I am married and I know someone will be coming home I value my time alone. Even when my husband is home we are not always together together, like today he is upstairs building cupboards, I am downstairs cleaning and tidying and in the interim going onto AB!

I love being alone. Knowing I am going to be alone and then getting to plan my day. It is so nice to have the house to yourself every now and then and do whatever. Nap all day or watch movies your s/o usually vetoes. Just hang out and relax.
